This heater is for Soft side waterbeds.
If your water bed has a single bladder then you would use one heater.
If your water bed has two bladders then you would have to use two heaters-one for each side.
For soft side water beds with tubes use 2 heaters for king and queen size and for twin or full size you use one heater.
